Parenting goals for 2020
2020 is upon us and this is the time to make parenting goals! Tomorrow is the day so many make New Year resolutions but most won’t make it. The counteract is that many blog posts and articles tell us not to give any resolutions at all. I understand it but I don’t agree with this type of counterbalance.
I’m a fan of goals as long as they’re realistic and attainable. Setting up goals is a great way to consciously develop and grow. If you don’t have the right tools though you’ll be struggling to make it through.
I know what it’s like, I used to make New Year resolutions every year and failed to make it through even the first month. Eventually, all these goals just become something you say without even paying much attention to it. It gets watered down and more like a thing you do rather than a promise to actually keep and strive for. Nowaday’s though I give a New Year revolution every year. But unlike previous years I give it a good thought and actually make a realisitic plan to reach my goal. Many focus on how to keep motivation but I would say it’s just as much about knowledge and having the right tools.
Many parents want to achieve and grow in their parenting skills and I think it’s great and something I want to encourage so I created a PDF on how to set up goals for 2020 that you’ll actually keep. Use this easy and practical worksheet on how to set up goals to develop as a parent. You’ll see what it looks like below.
